Designed in 1953 by architect James Wallace, the Cooper Gallery provides a unique space for exhibitions and events with its dark polished hardwood floor and the curved corners of the gallery walls. Our premier space, the Cooper Gallery, has a curated programme of five major shows a year, comprising of contemporary artists invited from UK and abroad. Although Exhibitions Department operates the Cooper Gallery’s programme by invitation only, we are happy to be made aware of artists’ practices, from all medias.
